Gozo has no airport so visitors have to arrive in mainland Malta by sea or air in the modern plush port or airport. From there one would hire a car, or take a taxi, coach transfer or public transport to Ċirkewwa where the ferry departs for Gozo. Trips to and from Gozo are frequent and run throughout the day and night, although the night service is less frequent.

The trip from the port in Valletta Harbour or airport (Luqa) to the ferry point  (Ċirkewwa) in Malta takes approximately 1 hour.  The ferry trip to Mgarr Gozo takes about 25 minutes and from Mgarr Harbour to the Cornucopia Hotel, in the village of Xaghra, about 15 minutes by car.

The Gozo Garage, the foremost car hire and handling agency in Gozo offers the most competitive and reliable services for all transfers, tours and car hire needs. Gozo Garage is the sister company of the Cornucopia.

If travelling by public transport, please refer to the timetable on their web site www.arriva.com.mt . Take bus number 322 and the bus stops at the Xaghra village square. From there proceed along Church Street (opposite the parish church to the right). At the cross road turn right into Bullara Street then take the first turning on the left into Xerri’s Grotto Street and turn right again in Gnien Imrik Street. The hotel is situated on the right hand side.
